In Conjunction with Grass Roots America the CCRMC is seeking Volunteers for an NITOC event
Help Promote the next generation Statesmen
FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, the National High School Speech and Debate Final Tournament (NITOC - National Invitational Tournament of Champions) will be held at Dallas Baptist University May 20-25. Approximately 500 of the top high school speech and debate competitors from all over the country who have qualified for NITOC will be descending on Dallas. FUN!
In order to make this happen, they will need approximately 1600 volunteer judges over the course of the week. Yes, 1600!
There are events that typically start at 8 AM and go all the way to 9 PM at night, but you can sign up for smaller blocks of time!
If you have approximately a 2.5 hour time block anywhere from May 20-25 (Monday- Saturday), in the 8 AM to 9 PM timeframe, please text Melissa Lux at 940-597-8750 the day and time you're available, your email address, your cell number, and how you would like your name to appear on your nametag.
and set up for all additional information
to come directly to you!
It really is that easy! In addition, they will have an orientation to tell you exactly how to serve as a debate tourney judge. They will even feed you – so show up hungry!
These kids cannot have a tournament without judges! Please volunteer – and then – prepare to be amazed! Past judges come away saying the talented and competitive debaters gave them a hope for the future! They didn't realize how much they would love judging! Many volunteer judges come back year after year!
Please text Melissa Lux at 940-597-8750, or call her with your available day and time, your name, cell number, and email address for more information.
You’ll be glad you did!
