Our January 18 meeting certainly defines: 2018 as a Year of Magic.  Dr. Neil Matkin President of Collin College our guest speaker will present the Master Plan for the expansion of the Collin College.  This expansion identifies six new campuses including Collin Technical Campus located in Allen designed for 5,000 students.  Presently, Collin College provides services for over 50,000 students and offering over 100 degrees and certificates.  Collin College is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and workforce development.
 
Dr. Matkin, joined Collin College this past year.  Prior to him joining Collin College he served at the Executive VP of Louisiana Community and Technical College system.   He holds both an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from Ambassadors College, as well as a Master of Science Degree from Golden Gate University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dallas and Doctorate of Education from Texas A&M University/Commerce.
 
As a parent, grandparent you will find Dr. Matkin’s presentation of great interest.  Your children and grandchildren may achieve an outstanding education at home in Collin County.
 
Invite a neighbor, bring a friend and mark your calendar for Thursday January 18, 201 to attend the monthly CCRMC meeting at the new Collin County Headquarters at 2963 W 15 St Suite 2981, Plano TX 75075.  Meet and greet begins at 6:30pm and meeting to follow at 7:00 pm.  Refreshments will be served.
