April Meeting

The Honorable Allen B. Clark is our keynote speaker! He will be speaking on "The Case for the Conspiracy to Assassinate President Kennedy," a counter to the Warren Commission report.The Honorable Allen B. Clark is a 1963 West Point graduate. He served as an Army intelligence officer in a clandestine assignment with the Green Berets in Vietnam. He received the Silver Star, America’s third highest decoration for Gallantry in Action, a Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. He was retired from active duty in 1968 due to combat wounds necessitating amputation of both legs below the knee.In 1976 he served as the president of the Dallas County Republican Men's Club.

He served as Special Asst. for Administration in the first Governor Bill Clements administration in Austin. He was the Republican Party's candidate for Texas State Treasurer in 1982.

He was confirmed twice by the U. S. Senate as a nominee of President George H.W. Bush in the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. He was an Asst. Secy. for Veterans Liaison and Director of the National Cemetery System. He retired in 2005 from the Dallas VA Medical Center.
