Board of Directors Meeting 2/6/17 Minutes

Attendees: Joe Cordina, Steve Mercer, Dalayr Hight, Ravi Jain, Tim McCord, Richard Dodson, Carroll Maxwell, Sam Bnerjee, Wendell Brock

1. Web site:
   1. Discussed how CCRMC emembers could register for Lincoln day through web site automatically be linked back to CCRMC; Dalayr will follow up
   2. Discussed how CCRMC could contain profile details of people signing up to become members through the web site; it was suggested that this information could be obtained through PayPal
2. Financials:
   1. Tim McCord said that there is $3000 in the CCRMC bank account
3. Speaker Program:
   1. February speaker will be Jon Cox, who will be talking about the role of an independent judiciary in our society.
   2. There was discussion of how to create a program to attract speakers.
4. Meeting Plan
   1. There was discussion of having events like Guest Night and Family Night
5. Mission Statement:
   1. The following mission statement was adopted:
   2. 'Providing Collin County citizens relevant  information on political issues impacting Republican Party values'
6. Membership Status:
   1. It was suggested that members who bring guests should introduce their guests.
   2. It was also suggested that members who attend CCRMC meetings regularly should get recognized.
7. Lincoln Day dinner Status:
   1. CCRMC has 3.5 tables filled
   2. CCRMC will send $200 to Republican Party to help with rent of room
